Before the performance, Kim Jong Un met with the main members of the Chinese delegation of literary and art workers and took photos with them.
Kim Jong Un spoke highly of the healthy and stable development of the relations between the DPRK and China.
He thanked Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the CPC Central Committee sending Chinese artists loved by the people of DPRK for a friendly exchange performance.
Kim Jong Un said that the visit will effectively promote exchanges between the two countries in the field of culture and art, enhance the friendly feelings of the two peoples, and consolidate the traditional friendship between the two countries.
During the performance held at the Mansudae Art Theatre, literary and art workers from China and DPRK jointly presented songs and dances.

Kim Jong Un watched the whole performance and applauded the wonderful performances from two countries. After the performance, the DPRK presented a flower basket to congratulate the successful performance.
In the warm applause of the audience, Kim Jong Un mounted the stage and shook hands with the main actors, praising the artists' superb performances.
Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, and Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, attended the above activities.

BRUSSELS, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- An improvised explosive device has been neutralized by the military in Herstal, Liege province, the easternmost province of Wallonia and Belgium, reported local media on Thursday afternoon.
The SEDEE -- military unit in charge of mine-clearing -- was sent to the Zeebrugge Forges in the early Friday morning after the discovery by workers of an explosive device composed of gaz tanks.
The federal police laboratories also went to the scene to analyze the situation and have confirmed that the device was a homemade bomb. Herstal's mayor also confirmed the information, precising that the bomb could not make significant damage.
The local media Sudpresse also indicated that the Zeebrugge Forges are one of the most important places in the world for the conception of military devices. The situation is now under control and all danger has been avoided.
